It is with great sadness that the family of Roy Chinn announce his sudden passing on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at the age of 77 years. Roy passed at the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre of Fort McMurray, Alberta.

Roy is survived by his loving wife Louise, daughter Tammy, son Jason (Tina) and his two grandchildren Megan and Joshua. Roy also leaves to mourn his brothers: Wallace, Aubrey (Kathleen), Milton; Hubert (Marie), and Armenius "Skip" (Ida); sisters: Una (Ross Forbes), Netta, and Joan (Curtis Sceviour); numerous nieces and nephews, godchildren, extended relatives, friends, and former Syncrude coworkers.

He was predeceased in life by his parents Willie and Edna Chinn, his niece Tracy, sister-in-law Loraine, and brother-in-law Pat Lamping.

In keeping with Roy's wishes, no formal funeral will be held.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salvation Army in Roy's memory.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Robert Anderson Funeral Services Inc. on Saturday, May 6th, 2023 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm for family and friends to pay their respects and honour the life of Roy Chinn.
