We, the family of Basil Drew, born November 27, 1953, in Conne River, NL. are saddened to announce his passing. He passed away peacefully on November 30, 2024, at the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre in Fort McMurray, AB.

Left to mourn his loss are his wife, Faye; his sons: Blair (Ashley), Travis (Victoria) and Coady (Kayla); his granddaughters: Iyla, Taylor, Cassidy, Preslie and Leia; and his grandson, Lio.

Basil was predeceased by his parents, John Henry & Lorsien Drew, and his brother, Dave Drew.

Thank you to the staff of the NLRHC, Michelle Warren, and especially Katie, his best friend while he was there. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date when announced by the family.
