Helen was born in Fort McMurray on October 1, 1953, to Cecile Elizabeth Cardinal and Johnny B. Cardinal of Fort McMurray.  She enjoyed the company of her family and enjoyed time at home. Helen is predeceased by her parents, Cecile and Johnny: brothers and sisters Archie, Marvin, James, Marie, Evelyn, Alex, Henry and George.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the 2nd floor nursing and care team at Hardisty Seniors Community facility in Edmonton.
