Raymond Colin Foley Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Raymond (Ray) Colin Foley announce his sudden passing on February 15, 2025.

Ray was born to Raymond and Deborah Foley on October 31, 1979, in St. John's, Newfoundland. At the age of 2 years old, Ray moved to Fort McMurray, Alberta with his parents and that's where Ray called home for most of his life.

Ray is survived by both his parents, Raymond and Deborah Foley, his loving wife Kayla, his children Lily and Ethan, his brother Brent (Tara), sister Ashley (Kyle), nieces Calliope and Madilyn, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and co-workers.

Anyone that knew Ray knew how much he loved his two children and his wife. Together Ray and Kayla loved to cook and feed the crowds. His kindness and generosity did not go unnoticed as he was always willing to help others in time of need. Ray's smile and laugh could light up a room. He was a thrill seeker and loved adventure. He was a die-hard Canucks fan and spent many hours defending his beloved team.

Ray's passing has been a shock to all those who knew him. Ray took great pride in his career as a Journeyman Scaffolder and will be missed by all his co-workers and friends.
