Age 57
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Son, Brother, Uncle, & Friend: Kenneth Shea Baker on March 28th, 2025.
Kenneth was predeceased by his father, Noel Baker. He leaves behind his loving mother, Susan Baker of Grand Falls-Windsor, N.L.; his brothers: Noel of Bay D'Espoir, N.L., and Mike (Carla) of Airdrie, A.B.; and his sisters: Yvonne (Sonny) of Innisfail, A.B., and Linda (Wilf) of Logy Bay, N.L. Kenneth was also dearly loved by his nephews: Jaydon, Noah, and Matthew; and his niece, Janaya. He leaves behind a special friend, Kay Kendell of Bay D'Espoir, N.L., who will always remember him fondly.
Kenneth had a heart of gold and a passion for music that was evident to all who knew him. He could play any instrument placed in front of him, with his favorite being the guitar, which he played with love and skill. His warm spirit, infectious humor, and love of pranks brightened many lives. He was always ready to make those around him laugh with his wit. A free spirit, Kenneth had an adventurous soul and a kind heart, always seeking the positive side of life and encouraging others to do the same.
Kenneth will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in his memory to The Salvation Army, Fort McMurray, Alberta.
A celebration of Kenneth’s life will be held at a later date, with details to follow.
Rest in peace, Kenneth. Your music, laughter, and love will forever remain in our hearts.
