My condolences go out to all his family and friends.
I first met Wendell during the 2019 outage at CNRL Horizon. From that very first meeting I immediately knew that I had met a friend for life. His out going personality and contagious positive outlook on life everyday was appreciated by everyone. There was never a dull moment when you were in his company. Be it a reflection on our military service endeavours, the seriousness of a work situation, or simply making sure “it was the right thing to do” given any situation. Most people would agree that he was “dedicated” to a fault. He never left matters unattended and cared greatly about the people around him. I appreciated the Christmas calls wishing my family a Merry Christmas and the pre calls updating me on the next turnaround events. I consider myself to be very fortunate to have such a kind, caring, generous fiend who I will dearly miss.
