Obituary of Eulalie Wisdom
Eulalie Wisdom
January 12, 1948 – April 15th, 2025
With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, Eulalie Wisdom, who transitioned peacefully from this life to her eternal rest.
Born in the serene hills of Aboukir, St. Ann, Jamaica, Eulalie was a woman of faith, strength, and undeniable grace. She was the cherished daughter of Matilda and Alfred Hall and the only girl among five siblings. Her early years were shaped by the values of faith, family, and hard work, principles that guided her for the rest of her life.
Eulalie met the love of her life, George “G” Wisdom, at the tender age of 24. Together, they built a strong, faith-filled marriage rooted in love, laughter, and devotion to God. Their union was blessed with five wonderful children: Gary, Eulett, Ainsworth, Kerine, and Chirleen, each raised in a home overflowing with love, prayer, and the aroma of home-cooked meals.
A dedicated stay-at-home mother in her early years, Eulalie later served as the chef at Rosedale Basic School for 25 years, touching the lives of generations of children. She was a gifted singer and longtime choir leader at Clifton New Testament Church, where her voice and leadership inspired many. Whether cooking for schoolchildren, leading the lady’s choir, or serving on various auxiliary boards, Sister Mar devoted her life to God and her family. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren (who proudly named her the funniest in the family), Eulalie brought joy and light wherever she went.
She was known not only for her unwavering faith but also for her wit, warmth, and generosity. Her home was always open, her advice always wise, and her presence always comforting. She travelled, she laughed, she loved deeply, and she served her God with all her heart.
Eulalie is now reunited in heaven with her husband George, her parents, and her siblings who passed before her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and family that will live on through her children, grandchildren, daughters and sons in law, extended family, friends, and all those whose lives she so graciously touched.
Her life was a testimony that only what you do for Christ will last, and what a lasting impact she made.
We love you always, Mar. Rest well in your Savior’s arms.

In Loving Memory
