Colin Eugene Solbak Obituary

Colin Eugene Solbak, beloved husband of Anna Kate, passed away peacefully at Fort McMurray Regional Hospital on December 2, 2024.

Besides his loving wife of 51 years, he is survived by his children: Kris (Wendy), Lyndsay (Chris), Andrew (Rachelle); grandchildren: Naomi, Lauryn, Leif, Olivia, Eliana, Lincoln, and Colin II. He has left a big hole in our hearts and shoes to fill. You will forever be fondly remembered.

Colin was pre-deceased by his parents Havord and Hannah Solbak, and his younger brother Vernon Solbak.

Born in Hardisty and raised in his hometown of Amisk, Alberta. Being raised up in a Christian and God fearing home, instilled values and morals which served him well in his life and career.

As president of what was once Little League, he adopted this motto as his way of life: “Strive to Win, but win or lose, I will always do my best.” This was evident in his life and in whatever he chose. He never lost sight of his end goal, being ready to meet his Lord and Savior, reaching Home Plate.
