







Obituary of Bridget Marguerite Garber
BRIDGET M GARBER
1965-2025
It’s with shattered and broken hearts we announce the passing of Bridget M Garber on June 1st, 2025. Bridget passed peacefully surrounded by family and friends in the ICU unit at Northern Lights hospital.
Bridget was the second youngest born to Shirley Whynot (Webster) and the late Loren Garber in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia.
Bridget loved Christmas and decorating her and Kevin home like a Christmas showroom. At a young age she had a very passionate and green thumb for her house plants which she loved. If you would see her out for lunch, she would be enjoying a good plate of fish and chips. Later she moved to Fort McMurray to be with her spouse Kevin. She loved to travel especially home to see her many family and friends which she loved and cherished so much.
Beside her parents, Bridget is survived by her spouse Kevin Lowe. Daughters Brittany (Ryan) and Niketa (Darren). Grandchildren Chloe, Christine, Kayden and Raylene. Great grandchildren James and Rowan. Bridget also leaves behind her brother and sisters. Donna (Jimmy), Philip (Tara), Cathy (Vernon), Brenda (Johnny), Vicki “Perlie” Whynot and many nieces and nephews. Step Children Courtney and Nick (Ashton). Step Grandchildren Braeden, Parker. Very close friends Corey and Angie, Shelly, Diane “Moe”, BJ and Natalie.
Bridget is predeceased by her Dad Loren Garber, Mother-in-Law Wanda. Brother in Law Leslie Wile and Uncles Donny and Wendell Slauenwhite.
Special thanks to Northern Lights ICU department and special thanks to Nurse Katie for the amazing care she provided to our wife, daughter, mother, sister, and friend .
A service will be held at a later date in her hometown in Nova Scotia.
