Judith Louise Ferre Obituary

Judith Louise Ferre (nee Disheroon) was born on February 1st, 1975 in Downey, California.  She was called Home to be with her Lord and Saviour on July 9th, 2025 while on vacation in Downey, California having reached the age of 50 years.


Judy will be lovingly remembered by her husband Alan, son Christopher, parents Robert & Cheryl Disheroon, sister Becky (John) McCann, mother-in-law Lynda Ferre, sister-in-law Lisa Ferre and her nephews, nieces and extended family members.


Judy grew up in a strong Christian home in Bell Gardens, California.  Upon graduating from high school she obtained her Bachelors of Arts from Hope International University where her focus was to help kids achieve their ultimate potential.  She relocated to Fort McMurray, Alberta after her marriage to Alan Ferre in 1999 and then began her career as an Educational Assistant in the Fort McMurray Public School Division.  Some of her proudest moments included obtaining her Canadian Citizenship in 2014 and seeing her son Christopher graduate from high school in 2020.  Her passions included her family, her kiddos, her friends and traveling to see God’s creation.


Her Celebration of Life will be held at ‘The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ located at  145 Beaconwood Road in Fort McMurray, Alberta on Saturday, September 13th at 3:00 pm.  Internment will be followed in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
