It is with great sadness that the family of Alisdair Wayne Brown announce his passing on August 31, 2025, at 63 years old.
Alisdair was born in St. Anthony, Newfoundland, on June 20, 1962. He moved to Alberta in 1983 and lived in Fort McMurray for the next 42 years. He worked as a carpenter/scaffolder for most of those years. He was very handy and if you asked him for help, he would always be there for you.
He will be remembered and deeply missed by his brother: Lindsay Brown (Sharon); sisters: Natalie Compton (Randy) and Seona Noseworthy; nieces and nephews: Brittany Compton, Matthew Brown, Jonathan Todd, Kristen Compton, Scott Compton, Oliver Noseworthy, and Nicholi Noseworthy; great-nephews: Carter O'Reilly and Walker Compton; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Alisdair is also survived by his beloved dog of 10 years, Dottie.
He is predeceased by his parents John and Marcella Brown (Bessey) and brothers Kurben Brown and Terance Brown.
The family would like to thank Dinah and the palliative care team, nurses and home care from the Northern Lights Regional Hospital for all the wonderful support and care they gave Alisdair for the past 10 months. To name a few; Kayla, Chantel and Tara.
