It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Robin-Lynn Sweeney on September 1st,2025 at the age of 56.

Robin-Lynn was born on Feb 28th, 1969, in Corner Brook, Newfoundland to her parents Marion and Michael Sweeney. She lived and worked in Corner Brook until she retired from Bell Aliant in 2017. Robin then moved to Fort McMurray, Alberta to be closer to her only child, Brittany and grandchildren, Kenzie, Marcus, and Brooks.

Robin-Lynn leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her Daughter, Brittany Sweeney (Nate); Grandchildren, Kenzie, Marcus and Brooks; Mother Marion Sweeney; Brother Michael Sweeney (Helen); Sister Alicia Whelan (Andy); Nieces and Nephews Brandon, Taylor and Terri-Lyn, Robin, Andrew and Bethany and Great-Nephew Cohen as well as Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and a large circle of special Friends.

She is predeceased by her Father, Michael Sweeney.

A Celebration of Life will be held as well as a private family service at Robert Anderson Funeral Home in Fort McMurray, Alberta.

Though her time here was brief, she filled her life with love, laughter and devotion to her Child and Grandchildren – her legacy lives on in us.
