It is with deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Wife, Mother, Nan, and Friend, Jessie Jane Coish (Green) on October 13, 2025 at the age of 73. Jessie passed peacefully, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on November 26, 1951, in Hawke's Harbour, Labrador, Jessie grew up in Port Hope Simpson, Labrador.

Jessie was known for her caring spirit and warm smile, which brought comfort to everyone around her. She had a deep love and was extremely proud of her three children and four grandchildren who brought endless joy to her life. She found peace among her flowers, gardening, and her beloved home in Labrador — or “The Big Land” as she fondly called it. Her gardens were a vibrant reflection of who she was: full of color, care, and life. Her passion for nature and her nurturing soul left a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know her.

Jessie is survived by her loving husband, Ivan Coish; her 3 children, Terry, Craig (Kelly) and Melissa; her 4 grandchildren, Daryann, Bailey, Colby and Mya; her siblings, Mary (Ralph)Turnbull, Lloyd (Alma)Green, Reginald (Joy) Green, Iris Turnbull, Blanche (Wade) Earle; nieces, Jessica, Samantha, Natasha, Colleen, Kellie-Ann and Elva; nephews, Travis, Reginald, Ralphie, Leon; as well as many cousins and friends.

She is predeceased and will be met at Heaven’s gate by her parents, Wilson and Una Green; mother and father in-law, Albert and Eva Coish; beloved dog, Babes; nephew, Lesley Earle

The family welcomes flowers in Jessie’s memory and invites friends and loved ones to plant a flower or garden in her honour, continuing her love of beauty, growth and life. Donations can also be made to the                                      

  Northern Lights Regional Health Foundation.

Cremation will take place following the service.
