It is with great sadness that the family of Paul Fleming shares news of his passing on November 12, 2025, at the Willow Square Continuing Care Centre in Fort McMurray, AB. Paul's long illness came to a peaceful end when he passed away.

Paul was born on December 21, 1962, to Selby and Edna Fleming. He grew up in a loving home as one of nine children. Paul dedicated his professional life to Syncrude Canada Ltd, beginning his fulfilling career as a Heavy Equipment Operator before transitioning to the Emergency Services department. There, he trained as a Firefighter/EMT and eventually became Captain for Team 502. Paul concluded his tenure as a Training Officer, where he invested significant time and energy into developing and mentoring others.

On June 2, 1996, Paul married his wife, Marnie Jo, and they shared 29 years of a deeply fulfilling partnership. Their lives were forever brightened on August 28, 2003, with the birth of their son, McCoy, who became the center of their world and with whom they created lasting memories.

Paul was predeceased by both his parents, Marnie's parents, and his sister Betty. His memory will be cherished by his loving wife Marnie, treasured son McCoy, sisters Jackie and Joan, brothers Todd, Rob, John, Brian, and Peter, as well as many extended loved ones and colleagues.

The family would like to express heartfelt thanks to the dedicated staff at the Willow Square Continuing Care Centre for their exceptional care.

A celebration of life will be held at the Family Christian Centre, located at 160 Dickins Drive, on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 12:00 PM, with a reception to follow.
