It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Vicky Knox nee: Moon on November 18, 2025. Vicky was a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be remembered for her warmth, gentle humour, and the deep love she held for the people — and animals — who filled her life.
Vicky is survived by her three sons: Parker (Kristen) of Fort McMurray, Andrew (Marsha) of Edmonton, and Colby of Nanaimo. She was a proud and devoted Gramma to her grandsons, Daniel and Nolan, and to her special granddaughter, Isla. Each of them brought her immeasurable joy. They will forever carry her spirit in their hearts.
She is also survived by her sisters, Kelly (Herb) and Wendy (Jim); her brother, John (Ruth); many nieces and nephews; and countless close friends who were like family to her, including Doug and Dodie Lavoie, Pete and Marie Duggan, Rose, and Micheline. Vicky also found comfort and companionship in her beloved cat, Rosie, who was rarely far from her side.
Vicky was predeceased by her parents, Bob and Betty Moon.
Over the years, Vicky worked in several administration roles at the hospital, Father Mercredi High School, and Syncrude. Her sons — and their teammates — will always remember the summers she spent chauffeuring them to ball tournaments. She was at her very best when she was being a mother to her three young boys.
Vicky’s kindness, loyalty, and unforgettable smile touched all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
