Beverly Margaret Baines

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Beverly Margaret Baines on January 5, 2026, in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Born on December 19, 1956, Beverly will be remembered for her extraordinary kindness, gentle spirit, and the quiet way she made everyone feel cared for.

Beverly was a truly compassionate soul - generous with her love, patient with others, and always thinking of those around her before herself. She found her greatest joy in her family, especially in being a devoted mother and a proud grandmother. She also cherished her many friendships and found peace and happiness in her love of gardening, where her patience and care were reflected in everything she grew.

Her warmth, sincerity, and genuine care for others left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Beverly was predeceased by her beloved husband, Verne Baines, who passed in 2017.

She leaves behind her loving daughter Kim; her cherished grandson Kaiden; her grandchildren Tanner, Arwynn, and Devin; her siblings Lois Karish (Peter), Gwen Sawrenko (Serge), and Trevor Barnes (Brenda); and her nieces and nephews, all of whom will remember her with deep love and affection.

Beverly’s legacy is one of kindness, empathy, and quiet strength. Though her passing was sudden, the love she gave and the memories she created will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved her.
