It is with great sadness and heartbreak that the family of Florence Sophie Snook announce her passing on Sunday, February 1st, 2026, at 64 years old. Florence passed peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Northern Lights Regional Health Center in Fort McMurray, AB.

Leaving to mourn her loving Husband, Simeon Snook; Son, Dwayne Snook (Jennifer); Daughters, Roxanne Snook and Kelly Snook (Wade); Grandchildren, Sierra Snook, Brianna Compton (Caleb), Dakota Snook (Abby), Dixie Edison, Jesse Snook, Chase Kennedy, Joey Jr. Edison and Jaxon Snook; Great Grandchildren, Jaydin King, Asher Miller and Atlas Fortais; Brothers, Gordon Drake (Josephine), Bill Drake (Carolyn), George Drake (Gladys), Gerard Drake (Diane), Puis Drake (Helena); Sisters, Hilda Strickland (George), Mary Snook, Dot Vallis (Ches), and Kevena Dominix (Clyde). She also leaves her Godson Roy Drake; Special Friends, Trixie, Wendy, Coralee and Sonya of Fort McMurray, AB., Theresa Bungay and Kim Bullen of Harbour Breton, NL., along with many Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. A special thank you to her niece Daena Snook (Barry) for the love and support through her battle.

She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Romaine Drake; Grandchildren, Skye Snook, Alexander Snook and Sofia Snook; Brother, Joe Drake and Sister-In-Law Georgina; Mother-In-Law, Maggie Snook and Father-In- Law, Simeon Snook, Brother-In-Law, Reg Snook; Brother-In-Law, Terry Skinner; Sister-In-Law, Betty Snook; Niece, Romaine Snook, as well as other close relatives and friends.

Funeral Services was held on Tuesday, Feb. 3rd, 2026, at 10:00 am from Robert Anderson Funeral Services in Fort McMurray, AB. As per Florence's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
