It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Joanne on April 14th, 2026. Joanne passed peacefully surrounded by family in Edmonton, Alberta. 


 


Joanne was a devoted wife, a proud and loving mother to her two daughters, and a woman whose strength and compassion touched everyone who knew her. She faced life’s challenges with courage and grace, always putting her family first and offering unwavering love and support.


 


She will be remembered for her kind heart, her willingness to help anyone in need, and the warmth she brought into every room. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.


 


Joanne is survived by her beloved husband, Warren, two daughters, Shakira (Zachary) and Tori (Solomon), mother, Betty White, mother in-law, Ann Cutler, & her 3 brothers, Perry(Lune), Floyd(Sharon) and Jerry who will carry forward her strength, resilience, and love. She also leaves behind extended family members and many dear friends who will cherish her memory forever.


 


Joanne is predeceased by her father, Angus White and father in-law, Martin Cutler


 


The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who offered support, love, and kindness during this difficult time. Your compassion has meant more than words can say.


 


A celebration of Joanne’s life will be held in Centreville, Newfoundland at a later date.
