Donald Damian Tobin Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Donald Damian Tobin, age 45, at the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre, Fort McMurray on May 12, 2026.
Donald has joined his mother Agatha, in heaven. He leaves to mourn his wife of 18 years, Amy; his two beautiful children, Gabriella and Garrison; his father, Donald Tobin; his two sisters, Julie Pike (Derm) and Donna Tobin; his brother, Matthew, his nieces, special mother-in-law, Susan Bishop and Eric, a large circle of extended in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Donald was a devoted husband and father. His world revolved around his family. There is nothing he wouldn’t do for them, and it showed in his day to day.
He was deeply dedicated to his career as a heavy equipment technician and had a passion for anything with engines. His work ethic was beyond what anyone would expect of him. He always went the extra mile and made many friends at his numerous jobs over the years.
Donald’s absence will be felt by all that knew him. He will be missed in the everyday “Good Morning” and the “how’s your day?”
His greatest wish would be that his family would not suffer financially in his absence. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be considered to help support Donald’s wife and children during this difficult time.
Cremation has taken place. Celebration of life details to follow at a later date.
"If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever."
Love you forever and day.
