Friend, Giselle Valerie Pearl Carpentier on July 10, 2026, in Fort McMurray, AB.

Valerie will be missed deeply by her community. Her close friends would call her Pinky

or Momma Bear. She was a social butterfly and made friends anywhere she went!

Valerie is survived by her best friend and son, John Howe, beloved furry friend Pixie,

brother, Fredick Brizard “Uncle Cocopie”; sister, Suzanne Remillard “Sue Sue”; friend, Janet

Miller, as well as numerous extended family members and friends.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Gordy Howe; parents, Pearl and Dollard Brizard;

siblings, Sandra Brizard, Louise Brizard “Uncle Dewy Boy”; relatives, Granny Bear and Yonne.
