Douglas Dean Ramsey Obituary

It is with deep sorrow and loss, that our family announces the passing of our father, Douglas Ramsey.

Douglas was born in Grande Prairie and grew up in both Whitehorse and Quesnel. He later moved to Fort McMurray with his own family in 2001.

He enjoyed the outdoors whether it was camping, fishing, or boating. Doug loved skiing and hockey; he was a true Canucks fan. He also loved to travel! His children were the light of his life, he loved them dearly and his grandchildren even more. He had a sense of humor like no other, and such an infectious laugh.

Doug is survived by his first wife Patricia Harrison, mother of his children, Mandy (Roberto) and Tyler Ramsey; second wife Trina Ramsey, mother of his children, Dylan (Chelsey) and Thomas Ramsey; grandchildren, Jaegar, Haily, Kira, Isla, Kingsten, Jaxon and Karson; and siblings, sisters, Ann, Cindy, Gayle and Dana

He is predeceased by his parents, Edward Ramsey and Louella Lunergan; brothers, Gary Ramsey, and Bill Lunergan; sister, Judy Clay; and lifelong friend and business partner, Tom Christopher.
