Caelan in grade seven helped me through a depression, one that I thought would last forever. He gave me a self confidence I longed for. I don't think I could ask for something better. He was there for when I needed him. As was I for him, We Ruled the school, Not caring about anyone and or anybody input. One day we went out for lunch in grade eight, just me and him and I was low on money so he paid for the food. We sat in the sun and we talked about lots of things, He invited me out to go to a cabin or something of that nature. Now, I've been floating on the ended friendships. That I wish could fill the Caelan sized whole in my life. I Miss him dearly, and it was my fault that we wouldn't have been The Kings of the school till the end of time.

Our very sincerest condolences Al, Suzanne, John and family. Words cannot express the sorrow we feel for your loss. Wish we could somehow ease your burden even a little. I saw Caelan walking the dog a while back while I was riding my bike and had a little chat with him. Dwayne also commented on how he talked to Caelan when he was working in the yard and he was such a friendly, helpful guy. Caelan sounds like he led a very accomplished young life. You were such a bright star from the day we met you, Caelan. It's been years since I have seen you but I can see by the response here you stayed shining even brighter. Thank you for letting us be a part of your journey for even a little while. I remember Caelan visiting us when we lived a few doors down and I had left the lights on and I go oh my I left the lights on and Caelan goes j hope they are environmentally friendly. Oh my from a 4 year old . He made me laugh so hard. He goes can I come visit you again I said Caelan you can visit me.and Taylor anytime you want to. He was such a delight to have around. I had the pleasure of meeting Caelan at Holy Trinity while substitute teaching. Caelan stood out in class! I had him take out his earbuds as he was supposed to be focusing on work and he was listening to a podcast. He was not pleased with having to stop! We had some great chats and I pegged him as being destined for greatness!
The loss of a child/sibling/friend/student is difficult. My sincerest condolences to all that had the delight of meeting this special individual, especially his family.
