Clara passed away on June 24, 2020 at the age of 67 years old. Clara is preceded by her parents William and Alice Ahyasou, brothers Alvin and Marvin Ahyasou, sisters Lila Ahyasou and Sarah Noskiye and husband Fred Wilson. She will be dearly missed by her husband Doug Mercer, brother Roy Ahyasou, sister Elsie Rolland, her children Crystal Wilson, Lee and Rose-Ann Wilson, Chris and Jennifer Wilson, and her nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
A Funeral Wake beginning at 11 a.m., June 29, 2020 in Fort McKay First Nation. A Funeral Service will be held on July 1, 2020 with an interment to follow at the Fort McKay Cemetery.

Through my journey my humble hands have prayed and loved many.
I followed your direction Great Spirit.
Through my journey I was a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, and kokum.
I was blessed with all your gifts Great Spirit.
As my journey on earth has ended, another has begun.
I am now with the grandfathers and grandmothers and I have no tears.
As I am now where the raven flies.
