Obituary of Douglas Philip Mercer

Please share a memory of Douglas to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
From the banks of Newfoundland To the shores of Buffalo Lake Your heart was most content With the waters breeze And the setting sun on your back Know your spirit has come to rest Where do eagles choose to roam And although we will miss you very much We know you were called home The sky has become the deep blue sea The clouds have become your shore And now, we take comfort knowing You will be with your loved ones gone before Until we meet again, one day According to the creators plan We will picture you, no other way Then with a great big smile, and a fishing pole in your hand Pallbearers: Chris Wilson, Lee Wilson, Hayden Wilson, Ivan Bouchier, Roy Ahyasou, and Reggie O'Conner. Honorary Pallbearers: Jimmy Noskiye, Wayne Noskiye, and Brandon Wilson. Final Respects in Fort McMurray on Friday October 9th 7-9 P.M. Robert Anderson Funeral Services at #115, 190 Macalpine Crescent. Final respects and Funeral Service held in Fort McKay, Saturday, October 10th at 10 A.M.-12:00pm at the Fort McKay Elders Center.
