Obituary of Carol Marie Weekes

Please share a memory of Carol to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Some people only walk this earth for a short time; their departure reminds us that angels are watching over us. With great sadness, the family of Carol Marie Weekes (née Beacom) announces her sudden passing on May 26, 2021, at the age of 58, in Fort McMurray, Alberta. She has rejoined her Heavenly family and gained her wings. Carol was born in Toronto, Ontario and spent most of her years between Ontario and Alberta. She attended Seneca College in Scarborough and graduated with a degree in Accounting and Finance. Carol had such a passion for life, especially when it came to her family. She was a devoted wife and mother and lived for her husband and children. She treasured every moment with her family and friends and always placed their needs ahead of her own; she was a natural caretaker and loved to look after those she loved. She was the glue that held us together. Carol was a fiercely loyal woman who inspired us daily with her courage and strength. No challenge was ever too big for her. She will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 27 years Mark Weekes, daughter Ashley, and son Matthew; brothers Craig (Danielle) and Scott; nephews Cory, Brett, Carter, and niece Calista. Carol was predeceased by her parents Donald and Shirley Beacom. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
