Obituary of Micheline Crowe

Please share a memory of Micheline to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Micheline Crowe (Roy) of Fort McMurray, Alberta, on September 15, 2021, peacefully in her sleep. She was 65 years of age. Micheline was well-loved by all who grew to know her. She always took the opportunity to be involved in her children’s extra circulator activities. All the kids who were fortunate enough to be taught by her felt her passion and love for downhill skiing. With her contagious laugh and smile, her company was sought for a quick chat or a long heart-to-heart, typically on the front doorsteps. Micheline was pre-deceased by her husband Gary Crowe in 2004, and parents Jeanne D’arc Roy in 1976 and Regis Roy in 1991. Micheline leaves to mourn her son Gordon, daughter Sabrina (Leland) Maccagno and son David, two grandchildren Shea-Lynn Crowe and Xavier Maccagno. Her brothers Gilles (Doris) of Bancroft, Ontario and Gaetan (Lucie)Roy of Timmons, Ontario. Three sisters Lucie (Claude) Camirand of Thorold, Ontario, Ginelle (Marc) Cloutier of Timmins, Ontario, and Marielle (Jaques) of Timmins, Ontario and numerous Nieces, Nephews, Family, and Friends. She will be greatly missed. Micheline’s Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at 1:00pm at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish, with Father Jonnel officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family graciously asks for donations in Micheline’s memory to be made to the Justin Slade Youth Foundation.
