Vincent Tyler Stacey Obituary

Tyler Stacey, 52, of Swift Current, Newfoundland, passed peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on January 29th, 2023, in Fort McMurray, Alberta, surrounded by his family and friends.


Tyler was born in Swift Current, Newfoundland, to Donald and Rosalind Stacey on September 29th, 1970.


Tyler leaves to mourn his wife Alice, their fur baby Moose, and Stepchildren Robin (Rob), Edward, and Jonathan (Alyssa). Step-Grandchildren Malcolm, Lilith, and Rylan. Sisters Cavell (Henry) and Janice (Eugene). Nephew Jonathan, Nieces Krista, Korlee, Koren (Chris), and fondly remembered as Uncle Wee Wee by numerous great nieces and nephews.


Tyler was predeceased by Parents Donald and Rosalind Stacey, Son Tyler Jr.


The family wishes to extend gratitude to all the caring staff at the Cross Cancer Institute, the Palliative Care team in Fort McMurray, and close family and friends who showed their support during his final weeks. Your care and compassion will not be forgotten.


Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life is to be planned at a later date.
