Q: How did you meet Roy?
A: Hi Sir(Roy). We have never met, but I feel I know you somewhat because I know Jay your son. My tribute to you is because your son Jay is one of the most important people and not only that a great friend. Being a traveller all over and doing my duty to spread love and music I met Jay. He welcomed me like a brother initially at the Oil Can. Over the years we became good friends even though I was coming mainly from Edmonton. Jay is the man, and you can be so, so proud for eternity ❤️. His love and amazing gift of performing one of his many instruments and my old school attitude fit just perfect with both of us. He’s so important to so many, but one thing Jay will continue to be the man for so many fans and just old friends and family. His brotherhood attitude and his absolutely amazing gift of giving and standing up for what’s right. Jay is always finding ways to make life easier for people with his kindness. He also has taught me about life and being true to yourself. Jay also has that ability to make you feel good about yourself when he performs or djs. Rest assured that Jay will carry on wnd on your honour. God Bless Sir.(Roy)
