Obituary of Darcy Fernand Johnson

Please share a memory of Darcy to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Darcy Fernand Johnson, 49, of Atmore, AB. (formerly of Fort McMurray, AB.) on July 19, 2023.

Darcy had a great love for his family, friends, sports, animals, a quick-witted joke (whether it was at your expense or his!) and going fast. He was the type of person who would give you the shirt off his back and he left an impression on everyone he knew. He made a lot of great friends over the years and treated them all like family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Left to mourn the loss of Darcy are his children: Dylan and Payton, and their mother Pam; his father, Ron; brother, Trevor (Corry); nieces: Tandice and Aeriel; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and several great friends.

Darcy was predeceased by his mother, Diane; grandparents: Fred and Dora Johnson, Fernand and Louise Ulliac; Aunt Charlotte; Uncles: Raymond, Albert, Tommy and Donny.

A private family viewing will be held for the family at Robert Anderson Funeral Services Inc. and a celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.

With Darcy’s love for animals, in lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to your local SPCA in Darcy’s name.
