It is with tremendous sadness that the family of Susan Pearl (Young) Bessey, announce her passing on August 27, 2023 at the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre in Fort McMurray, Alberta.

Left to mourn her passing is her beloved husband, Keith Bessey; her son, Kirby Young (Tara); her daughter, Melissa Bessey; her beautiful grandchildren: Felicity, Emma, Cedric and Nevaeh; also, her sisters, Wanda and Dale Young.

Pearl was pre-deceased in this life by her parents: William and Stella Young; her brother, John and her sister, Darlene.

The family would like to extend a special heartfelt ‘Thank You’ to all of her long-time friends. Your friendship and endless care have truly been appreciated. Thank you to everyone who has supported us, her family, over the past several weeks and months. Many thanks also go out to the staff of the Dialysis & Palliative Care Units of the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre of Fort McMurray, Alberta, for all the loving care, attention and compassion that they showed with Pearl.

In lieu of flowers, donations maybe made to Diabetes Canada.

A public viewing will be held for those who would like to pay their final respects and offer their condolences to the family.
