Ken was a memorable part of the daily life in the schools he worked in, always ready with a smile and a hello for the students (especially those of us who were there early or who stayed late). I remember him fondly, even nearly
25 years after graduating from Father Merc. He made a difference in an everyday kind of way. Deepest condolences to his family and friends.
I met Ken when i first moved to Fort McMurray in 1993, playing beer ball. He was always smiling and loved chatting. Ball was such a great way to meet amazing people like him. Both our kids graduated from Father Mercredi Highschool so we saw him all the time. He was tireless at his job and had such pride in it. His smile and the sound of his jingling keys will definitely be missed.
So sad to hear of Kenneths passing .
