To Julie's family: I am saddened by your loss and mourn her loss myself. I can clearly visualize Julie leaning in and in a quiet but confident and assuring tone, with a smile, saying... but you know... I'm safe in the arms of Jesus. Her faith was strong and sharing her faith was her passion. She was outgoing and loving and invited people into her life and generously shared her home, her cooking, her friendship, her love and yes, her advice. She loved her family with all her heart and was blessed by 5 amazing kids who loved her dearly. She adopted their spouses and their friends and celebrated and treasured her grandkids. I met Julie when I was about 14 years old and have been privileged to experience her joy and convictions both near and far for most of my life. I know the last few years have been challenging, especially since Roy's loss but I also know she would have sensed all the love around her. To the whole family, I offer my deep sympathy and, of course, to my dear friend Denise, husband Jeff and children Chris, Jillian and Emily, who shared Julie with me over the many years they lived together close by, my love is with you at this time. People often use the term "rest" for those who have passed and while I understand and appreciate the meaning, somehow I am inclined to say ... go dance - grab Roy's hands and dance! Love, Robin
