Frank was born on May 1, 1952 to Gordon & Irene Brown. He graduated from Botwood Senior High School in 1970 and went on to start his career as an Ironworker, building large structures. In 1980 Frank relocated his family to Fort McMurray, Alberta where he worked in the Oil Sands for 3 years. They then moved to Tumbler Ridge, BC, where he worked for Quintette Coal for 5 years, then moved back to Fort McMurray, where their family was. He retired with Suncor Energy after 30 years of service. Frank & Irene also lived in Lacombe, Alberta, before relocating to Fort Saskatchewan with their family in 2021.

Frank had many passions in his life; first was his relationship with God, quality time with family and friends as well as his love of buying and selling vehicles, stock car racing and camping in their Motorhome. Over the years Frank made many wonderful friends and was known by his welcoming smile, he was always willing to help out if anyone needed it. His biggest love became travelling anywhere his Grandson Brandon was playing hockey. Near or far, if Brandon was on the ice, Pop and Grandma were in the stands! Frank’s greatest joy was becoming a Pop to his 3 Great-Grandchildren.

Frank is survived by his beautiful wife, Irene, of 52 years of marriage. His daughters: Patricia Brown and Marie (Richard) Ralph; his grandchildren: Victoria Brown, Brandon (Kendra) Ralph and Nicholas Brown. His great grandchildren: Tessa & Veronica Fudge and Hendrix Ralph; his siblings: Gerald (Barbara) Brown, Jean (Fred) Rowsell and Bruce Brown; his sister-in-law, Carla (Donald) Ralph; his brother-in-law Cyril (Janice) Thompson as well as numerous Nephews and Nieces.
