Obituary of Frank Goodwin

Frank Goodwin passed peacefully at the Northern Lights Health center on May 8, 2019 in Fort McMurray at the age of 65.

Frank is survived by his wife Elizabeth Goodwin; children, Lisa Tssessaze (Allen Tssessaze) and Dean King; grandchildren Colby Auigbelle, Liam Auigbelle, Allen Paul Tssessaze (AJ) Therese Tssessaze; siblings, Rollo Goodwin, Ken Goodwin, Real Goodwin, Dennis Clermont. He is preceded by Father Rollo Goodwin Sr. Mother Stella Goodwin, Brothers Jimmy and Don Goodwin.

Frank was born on January 20th, 1954 in Waterways, Alberta to Rollo and Stella Goodwin. Frank lived in Fort McMurray all his life. He started working at a very young age and recently retired from his field of work in the oilsands industry. Frank married the love of his life, Elizabeth and spent 39 beautiful years together. Through the years Frank made many friends and was a well-respected member of our community.

His children remember him as a kind, patient father who encouraged them to pursue their goals.

A wake is scheduled for Tuesday May 14th 4:00 pm at All Saints Anglican Church located 9902 Manning Ave. Fort McMurray, AB. Funeral services will be held at the same location Wednesday May 15th, 11:00 am with a reception to follow at the Legion in Waterways. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Frank's life.
