I was devastated to learn of Victoria’s death; it is beyond words. I mostly knew Victoria as a young girl, and I will never forget what a fantastic big sister she was. When I babysat Victoria and Colton, she always looked out for her little brother. Whether she was making sure he had enough to eat, reminding him to mind his manners, or following the bedtime routine, she always did so with a kind of warmth and caring that was palpable, even then. One of the first nights I was there, Colton didn’t want to go to sleep. Victoria asked him what was wrong, and he whispered something to her. She grabbed some books and a few stuffed animals and hopped into bed with him to read a story and comfort him. Any person could see how much they both adored each other. Victoria loved deeply, fiercely, and with conviction. I witnessed the wonderful family in her life, who always showed up to support, encourage, and love her. There is no doubt that this love helped her grow into the compassionate, courageous, fun, force of a woman she was. Victoria was the woman who cared enough to confront. She lived an incredible life and touched so many people in the short time she was here. Jobina, Pat, and Colton, it was beautiful to see the support you gave one another and the love you are all surrounded by. I will be holding you all in my thoughts and heart.

I taught Victoria in Elementary School. She was always an enthusiastic, inquisitive, and bright student. I don't have many pictures from back then but here she is donning our "experimenting" coat. I believed she was destined for either something artistic or scientific. She did both in her own way. I am so sorry to see her bright light snuffed out far too soon. My thoughts and hugs go out to her family.

So sad to just hear of Victoria’s passing. In high school, she was a dedicated and bright theatre and band student. I had the privilege of guiding her in high school musicals , dramas and touring one act shows. She directed a one act play during her senior year at Westwood Community High school of which she showed outstanding leadership and passion. Deepest condolences to her friends and family.
