I did not personally meet Terese but I have heard many wonderful stories over the years about her. Joanna, Terese’s daughter shared many stories with me from being young and mom coming home from work and cuddling her in bed and falling asleep with her. I heard how Terese raised her family for many years on her own and although they did not have a lot in life, they did have love. The scare of being evacuated from Fort Mac a second time was a blessing in disguise as Joanna had both her mom and step dad at her place for a few days recently, which is a memory that will be cherished for ever. Sending hugs to all the family while they grieve the loss of Terese.
