Gertie,
You were my best friend and cousin for many years. I will miss not texting you just to say “Good morning” and “How are you?”. I will miss our calls every Sunday. Remember when I would call you at 5am and you would be sleeping, you would get so pissed at me. I always forgot the time zones. I will be lost not to have you to bug at 5am.
I am so relieved that you are not suffering anymore and that you are in a safe place. We will meet again someday, please God. Until then, rest in peace my best friend and cousin.
