Heaven has gained another angel. It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of their beloved Clara Evelyn Rebecca Tulk at the age of 73 years. Evelyn, as everyone knew her, passed away peacefully at the Willow Square Continuing Care Centre in Fort McMurray, AB. on Saturday, October 5th, 2024.

Born to Charlie and Clarice Burden on March 18, 1951, in Port Hope Simpson, Labrador, Evelyn was 1 of 10 children and became the mother of 3 beautiful daughters, 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was well known for speaking her mind, but it always came from a place of love. Her faith always held strong, and she knew the Lord guided her way in life.

Leaving to mourn the loss of her amazing spirit are her daughters: Paulette (Perry) Poore, Patti Tulk and Tanya (Brian) Regular; her grandchildren: Angela, Kyle, Keith (Yasmin), Kris (Nikkita), Brandon, Bradley (Heather), Brittany (Jeremy), Brianna (Scotty), Brandi, Braelynn, Blair (Melanie), Natasha (Glen) and Nicole (Greg); her great-grandchildren: Lavadiya, Aria, Gracie, Avery, Carson, Hailee, Alex, Charlee, Annabelle, Jada, Baxter, Noah, Chase and Joseph; her 9 siblings: Violet (Simon) Strugnell, Laura (Bill) Gaulton, Ruth (Shad) Janes, Effie (Tony) Penney, Perry(Paula) Burden and Oral Burden.

Evelyn was predeceased in life by her parents, Charlie and Clarice Burden, and her siblings: Ina (Alex) Turnbull, Annie (John) Turnbull and Vera (James) Russell.

Into the loving arms of the Lord, we know that Evelyn has found her wings and a peaceful place to rejoice and call home. Always loved and forever missed.
