The family of Louis Ferreira are saddened to announce his passing on Saturday, December 28th, 2024, at the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre in Fort McMurray, AB.

At Louis’ specific request there will be no service or viewing. His body shall be cremated, and his ashes will be spread at a later date.

Leaving to mourn the loss of Louis are his common-law partner of 36 years, Jeannie Careen; his 3 stepdaughters: Karen Campbell (Brett), Gail Daley and Colleen Daley; his two brothers: Anthony Ferreira (Margaret), and Nicholas Ferreira; his 5 Grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Louis was predeceased by both his mother and father; his son, Kenny Ferreira; three of his brothers and three of his sisters.

A special thanks go to the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre for their care on numerous occasions over the past year. There is also much gratitude being extended to his granddaughter, Dominique Daley, Sara Careen, Patrick Conway and our good neighbors and friends, all of whom have provided great friendship and care to Louis.
