Korey you were one of the best friends I ever had. You Always knew just the right thing to say to cheer me up and put a smile on my face. I’m going to miss talking to you for hours on the phone or sitting on roofs watching the sun rise. So many memories we shared that I get to look back on. You had such a personality and a huge heart. I’ll be forever grateful to have had you be a part of my life. Love you and miss you. Rest in paradise Korey Sweeney. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Korey the last place I ever imagined seeing you was in Stony Plain this summer , you have been apart of my life for 20 years and I've always known you to have the biggest heart there is anything you wouldn't do for anyone if you had the power , and so many people took that for granted :( back in high school I never failed to get a big hug from you and always had so much fun ,from bush parties ,to the good ol PB,or the Borealis water park lol , and these past four months have been the darkest part of my life and I'll never forget how you reminded me of who I was before all the bullshit and I'll foreverbe grateful for that ,I love you Sweeny and I'll miss the shit out of you Rest in Paradise and give the boys a big hug for me , gives me some peace knowing you have Will and James and Tyler to be there to greet you .

Korey once pushed my little cavalier around the wood buffalo macs gas pumps because I ran out of gas and was parked the wrong way. I didn’t even have to ask, he just was at the right place right time. My condolences to the family.

I honestly can sit here for days and go on with memories... but one that keeps playing over and over in my head. How kind hearted and loving korey was. In high school I was severely bullied by a few chicks. Korey couldn’t ever physically stand up for me against women. (Not sure if krista will remember this) korey cared enough about me to send his sisters to defend me. That kind of loyalty and respect I’ll never forget. My 17th birthday... I’ll never forget because I had one of the best nights of my life at his place in thickwoood. My heart hurts so much that my best friend my big brother figure is gone. Thoughts and prayers are with the family
