I had the pleasure of working with Derrick over the last few years. While I was on different crews Our paths would cross from time to time. He was always a pleasure to be around. We had some good laughs. Rest In Peace Derrick. And thoughts and prayers to his family and friends. The world lost a good soul.

We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Derrick. He was your neighbour for many years and we enjoyed batter over the fence as well as sharing a beverage around the fireplace.
Derrick was always there when you needed an oil change or some mechanical advice or just to hang out in the garage. He took great pride in his home - he renovated it from top to bottom. Derrick was a fun addition to our neighborhood and we were all envious of his dream garage. He inspired us to built one like it when we retired.
Derrick was a good man, fair and kind. Rest In Peace Derrick.

I was shocked to hear of Derrick's passing. I had to double check just to see if this one a another Derrick Dreaddy. I realized this is the Derrick I knew after reading the full obituary. My brother Steve and Derrick were good buddies growing up in St. George's back in the late 60s and part of the early 70s. We all know the whole family and they are all wonderful. So sorry to hear of Derrick's passing. RIP Derrick.
