Edith we will dearly miss you. We were all young Peoples Jewellers Managers when we first met Edith when she would come down to Edmonton for managers meetings. The obligatory alcohol debriefing always followed at a near by watering hole in which she demonstrated her Nfld roots to drink us under the table. She was always there with a witty joke or story to liven up the "meeting" with her easy east coast accent. An incredible hard worker she epitomized the perfect manager at work but knew how to party hard which we witnessed on countless conferences to Vancouver & Toronto. I do remember a road trip up to her store in Fort Mac to assist in an inventory when all us managers descended in town. She was the perfect host taking us underwing to work in her store doing inventory during the long day & night. Afterwards for both nights she would wine & dine us then lead us to explore the wild side of Fort Mac to various bars/ nightclubs and we would dance away the evening with her and the staff until they closed the place. Edith always loved life to the fullest and had a zest for fun in work and in play. She will be deeply missed and forever in our thoughts.
