Neil was a true gentleman and loved to chat with you. He certainly was a dedicated Salvation Army member and would do anything asked of him. He is now reunited with Vi and sitting in the presence of his Lord and Saviour. Thoughts and prayers are with all the family

To Elsie and all the family: we are sorry to hear of Neil’s passing. He was one of the first we met at the church when we moved to Fort McMurray in May 2004. In our 15 years there we shared in many meals together. A very pleasant quiet man and always a pleasure to be in his presence. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in these difficult days. Our love goes out to Tina, Bob and their families.
Uncle Neil was a wonderful Uncle. I remember when they visit Dave and I in Foxtrap. It was in Uncle Jimmy Leggs car. They phone to say they were coming for supper and stayed for a few days. Well, Aunt Vie and Uncle Jimmy were always in to it over Uncle Neil's dog . Uncle Neil would just laugh at it all. Aunt Ruby was very quiet and kind; she picked me berries from across the road. Uncle Neil worked very hard helping Dave dig out the side of the house. Uncle Jimmy took apart the TV.I remember the fun we had. When they left, Aunt Vie gave me a wool blanket. I still have it today.

To: Bob and family and to Tina and family
We are sorry to hear of your dads passing. We have many fond memories of Neil while living in Ft. McMurray. He was very active in the church and was a kind and gentle man to everyone. Neil had a good sense of humour. I remember we bought a big screen TV, there was a bunch of us down stairs watching hockey. Neil was a little late coming and as soon as he walked in his first words were “Boy, they got lots of room to play hockey on that TV” that was just a sample of his dry humour.
I’m sure you will miss him but we know he’s just gone home ahead of us.
God bless you all
Ralph and Louise

So very sad to hear of Uncle Neil's passing. I remember Sunday night visits to our home after church. Also my big trip to Mings Bight with Uncle Neil and Aunt Vi in their bat-mobile. Don't know name of car but it had gorgeous wings. Of course, as a little kid, it was a big deal for me. Uncle Neil's passing is a sad ending to the Cooper siblings. I'm sure though, a wonderful reunion in heaven on January 2, 2023. Much love to Bob, Tina and family. Ivan, Gareen Cooper Ball and family.
