It’s taken me a long time to get my words right . I hope not too long . I would like to express my thoughts rather then tell a story of Jared . Although there are many enjoyable moments to write about . I’ll save them for in person.
I didn’t meet Jared untill he was about 15. He left an impression on me from the first moment we met . He was a born leader full of courage . He was light hearted and always having fun . Jared was Hardworking , optimistic , fearless at times and always positive . If something was wrong , he could tell. He had an instinct for it . Jared would be the first man to make you laugh , and on the opposite hand , the first man in to have your back . He was good man and one hell of a solid friend. A great son , and incredible brother. He loved his dad and brother more then life . I had the pleasure of working with nick for a while. Jared would always leave me by saying “ look out for my bro will ya “ . He was very caring like that . I will always look out for his family because of it . Long after he is gone, we will forever remember him and pull strength from his memory . Jared will be missed by many but comfort is taken knowing that he watches down and protects us still .
He was an amazing personality and incredible heart . I love and miss him , I always will .
My sympathy and deepest condolences to his parents , family , extended family and friends .

Jared, oh the memories I have with you. So many fun times growing up. We did so much together I’m so happy I got to grow up with you in my life. elementary school always making me laugh meeting up at the dickensfield store getting into trouble to high school always having my back all the parties at Bernie’s. Even after high school you and chad drove to Calgary to visit me. My favorite memory though is when I sang amazing grace at school and of course I wasn’t that great. You and Zuk never let me live that down. At your funeral a lady sang that song I giggled to myself because I know if you were sitting beside me you’d nudge me and say hey Megan it’s your song and you’d start singing it with my out of pitch tone.
I wish I would of stayed in touch more over the years I didn’t think of you lots. An I love that we have Facebook I got to see how you were doing. I miss you and thinking of your dad and brother. Sending all my love.

Jared I love you so much buddy. Still in disbelief and it hasn't really sunk in yet. Growing up with you as my older brother was a blessing and im so thankful for all the memories we had together. Where do i start.. when we were younger we were inseparable everyehere you went i followed and learned everything from you. You had my back anytime i needed no matter what the situation was, you interduced me to so many people that im still so close to and we all love and miss you so much bro. Through all the parties movie nights, bbqs, or just sitting down and talking when either me or you had problems going on we always helped eachother get through it. If we fought which we did it didn't matter what happend we would be back to normal 20 mins later cause we loved eachother so much. You were my ro-model growing up and always will be. Its unbleivable i will never see you again, ill cry eveytime I say that to myself and thatll never change and i honestly cant see it getting any easier ffs. I love you so much jared and always will. My biggest wish is to just be able to see you again and give you a big hug, really wish we did that more. Anyone reading this, give your friends and family a big hug an kiss cause life is really to short and stupid drama isn't worth it one bit. REST IN PEACE BROTHER. It cannot be easy losing a loved one so suddenly and unexpectedly..
My heart aches for all of you, family & friends.
Nick and Bern, Jared was not only an extremely kind man but his love for his family shined through him more than anything.

It's still so hard to beleive that you are gone. What I would give to see you coming down our street just one more time. I am so happy you moved home though and Shayne and I were able to see you so often..even if sometimes it was just a quick wave as you drove by. Always smiling and laughing. I will miss that the most. One of the last conversations we ever had you made sure to tell me how much you loved us and I hope you knew just how much we loved you too. Jared word can’t describe how much I’m going to miss you brother .. I will still never forget how you I got the nick name “ garrett the ferret .. you asked me one day to go to the beach you had some girls lined up .. I was pumped .. so we got out there and I took my sandals off and my feet were hairy .. and u called me out in front of every one “” look at the farretts feet “ I was so embarrassed but you always made me laugh so hard I would totally forget about it .. Dear jared,
I love you, I miss you & a part of me still refuses to believe it’s true, I don’t really know how to say everything I want to say.
You went from being that mysterious guy hitting on me to my best friend, my person! I would do anything to hear those silly nicknames you made for me, or to hear you singing in a British accent or to stay up all night talking about stories from our past and the dreams of our future, individually and together, I would give anything just to feel your warm hugs one more time.
