Obituary of Glen Alden Young

It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Glen Alden Young of Fort McMurray on the 6th of October, 2019 at 67 years of age. Glen passed away peacefully after battling a second round of cancer at the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre, Fort McMurray, Alberta

Left to mourn is the love of his life, his wife of 44 years, Marilyn, mother Shirley Young of Edmonton, mother-in-law Rosalie Jack of Fort McMurray, sister Tracy Young of Drumheller, brother Tim (Lesa) of Fort McMurray, brother Gordon (Kim) of Edmonton, numerous brother and sister-in-laws, many nieces and nephews, and many many family and life long friends. He is predeceased by his father Stuart Young.

A Celebration of Glen’s Life will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday 1st November, 2019 at the McMurray Gospel Assembly, 10110 Main St. Fort McMurray, Alberta.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Glen’s name to the Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton, Alberta, or the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre Pallative Care, Fort McMurray, Alberta.
